Tried Spaced Out Pizza for the first time today and I was not disappointed! Great pizza and service and a decent beer selection. I think we have a new favorite pizza place!
My wife and I went to Spaced out Pizza this past week and really loved the food and the service. Great family place. Our server was awesome and very attentive! We will be back!
Tonight was my first visit to this establishment and I must say that I was VERY impressed with not only the cleanliness, but the service, decor, and general ambience was very pleasing to me. I ordered the 18" Meat Maniac, the Space Balls (buttery, garlicy, parmesany goodness), and the chicken tender platter and every single bite was well worth the price I paid. The pizza reminds me a lot of Giovanni's in Lincolnton, N.C., and Manny's Greek-Italian Restaurant in Boiling Springs, S.C.. The theme is very original to this area and sets it apart from other pizza places in the area. I WILL be back again and highly recommend this place to anyone wanting quality food at a reasonable price!
I think this place just recently opened..came in on a Tuesday night around 6:30..there were three other tables and a couple guys at the bar during my visit..so it wasn't very busy..the restaurant is very spacious..has a lot of seating and a lot of room..the decor is nice..would've liked it to be more bright..the darkness made it sorta gloomy.. There were two waitresses and one bartender on shift while I was there..the waitresses are very pleasant..and efficient..I didn't have to wait long to be greeted, and they brought refills on drinks before I had to ask, which is always a positive. I placed my order rather quickly..which is also a positive. They were good servers..so I left a $10 tip on a $14 check.. Now the food..I ordered a 14 inch pie with extra sauce..extra cheese..with half double pepperoni and half pepperoni and sausage. The pizza was ok..def not the best I've ever had but far from the worse..if I had to compare I would say it reminds me of Venus pie on Main Street..the quality of the toppings I could tell aren't exactly premium but they weren't on the low level of a CiCis..like I say..it was good but not great..I will probably try the calzone and the wings or chicken tenders if I return. The wings looked good..and it's about 20 different sauces you can get them tossed in. They have quite a few dessert options as well..from Apple or cherry pie to chico chip pizza. I know I will return again one day just not sure when.
I love their taco pizza (not it's actual name) and the theme of the restaurant is a lot of fun. I haven't eaten in, but it has a fun vibe. It's one of the best pizza places in town and one of the only original ones so I highly recommend eating here.
